Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Signing Day Advisors ("SDA", "we", "us") is an independent college recruiting advisory service. This policy explains what information we collect from families, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to give us. We do not buy personal information about student-athletes from third parties.

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, the student-athlete's graduation year, and whatever you write in your message.

When you complete the athlete questionnaire, which happens after your first consultation, we collect substantially more, including:

• The student-athlete's name, high school, graduation year, and club team
• Parent or guardian names and contact details
• Club coach name and contact details
• Academic information: GPA, class rank, class size, course rigor, and test scores
• Athletic information: competition times, training volume, meet schedule, and injury history
• Extracurricular activities, college preferences, and recruiting activity to date

Providing this information is optional, but we cannot prepare a meaningful assessment without it.

3. Student-Athletes Under 18

If a student-athlete is under 18, our services must be purchased or authorized by the student-athlete’s parent or legal guardian. For purposes of our services, that parent or legal guardian is the Client.

The minor student-athlete is not a party to the service agreement, although we may collect information about the student-athlete and communicate with them as appropriate in providing the service.

We ask that the athlete questionnaire be completed together by the student-athlete and at least one parent or legal guardian, and that the parent or legal guardian consent to the submission of the student-athlete’s information.

A parent or legal guardian may ask us to review, correct, or delete information about their student-athlete at any time by emailing us. We will honor these requests subject to any legal or record-keeping obligations that require us to retain particular information.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Prepare the SDA Compass assessment and recruiting recommendations
• Communicate with your family about your questions and services
• Deliver and support the services you purchase
• Meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else's advertising.

5. Who We Share It With

We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers that operate our business, such as our form provider, email provider, and payment processor. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
• Colleges and coaches, only with your direction and agreement. We do not send a student-athlete's information to a program without your say-so.
• Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored by SDA. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

7. Retention

We keep questionnaire and assessment information for as long as we are working with your family, and afterward only as long as needed for our legal and business records.

You may ask us to delete your family's information at any time. We will do so unless we are required to retain part of it by law.

8. Your Choices

You may ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold about your family, correct anything inaccurate, delete it, or stop sending you non-essential email. Email info@signingdayadvisors.com and we will respond.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us, including limiting access to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting information already collected will be communicated to affected families.
